My newest love: Brownie in a mug. The first recipe I found included cocoa powder and sugar. But I was out or c. powder. So I searched to see it was possible to make it with hot cocoa powder. No credit here, GV was in the cupboards insisting we could use it because it said "cocoa." Anyway I did find a recipe that used 2pkg of Swiss Miss and other stuff. I dind't have the packets so I combined the two recipes together and ended up with:
6 TB of cocoa mix (or 2 TB cocoa and 4 TB sugar)
3 TB flour
1 TB butter/oil
splash of vanilla
Microwave for 1 min and test with tooth pick. Add 10 sec. intervals as needed. YUM and FAST!
It was good. Not amazing. But definately worth five minutes. I will continue to experiment with substitutions to cut out the sugar and replace with honey or agave. The sugar gives me a headache.
